He was born and bred in rural Bengal in the laps of Mother Nature. Growing up amidst the green, he loves her contributions in his life. When he was kid, he took his grandfather's reading magnifying glass to see the intricate beauty of small creatures. Though he is not an Entomologist by profession, watching, observing and capturing amazing moments and their exquisite beauty by the gear is his passion.
 
This is not an easy journey for him. Roaming in the wild places under the open sun, ignoring the pangs of thirst and hunger, huge level of patience is part of this journey. The world of small wonders always keep testing his patience. Moments will come on its own way…challenges are always plentiful…limitations are also many. Extensive fieldwork, study of their behaviour; all helps him to shape up to what he is today…a novice in the world of Arthropod Specialist Wildlife Photographer and a Cinematographer.

Taking into consideration of his journy in photojournalism, he felt that through cinematography, he could speak more on wildlife and awareness on nature conservation. So, presently he is completely dedicated to Wildlife Documentary Filming.
 
Discovery of spider Neobrettus Tibialis first time from India is a major success in his photography carrier. For him, success means satisfaction in capturing the best moments, understanding the limits, working successfully under challenging environments, learning more from the failures and a better presentation every time.

He prefers to create his own brand of documentary photography on the life of hard to see small creatures which conveys an emotional connection with the small wonders and explores new avenues to create awareness among people. This is his innate desire to immerse himself more into his subjects to capture moments for the photo story of their behaviour that have seldom been seen before, let alone photographed. He already proved his identity in the world for his amazing works through 15 years of his photography journey and more than 10,000 hours of field work in the wild places.
